Full Title: Bats in Her Belfry and Demons in Her Dress
Another older piece, except this one I’ve actually been “dying” to get up. But what’s a “ghoul” to do when the SOI people “trick” us out of our “treats” by setting the end of the show after break lets out? [And I’m the silly goose who didn’t get a digital copy before I entered it, so I guess it’s partially my fault.]
I had this piece up in SCAD’s Society of Illustrators Halloween show, entitled “Midnight in the Gallery of Good and Evil.”* Able to transcend its cheesy name [although not as cheesy as my awful puns above...sigh], a lot of good work got into the show; despite that fact, I actually received “Honorable Mention” for this piece.
Anyways, sorry its late, but here’s my Happy Halloween for you all!
P.S. ~ This one didn’t have a story to begin with, but I’ll have a story when I put it up for sale, so the curious should check my print shop in a couple of days.
[acrylic and ink]
*FYI: The nonfiction novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil [also known as “The Book” down here] took place in Savannah; hence the name of the show.
crud, I think I faved something of yours earlier today... but your gonna have to live with TWO faves from me today, because this is just way too cool XD

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
