On a global note, congratulations Egypt on your successful, non-violent revolution. Everyone's aware that it's really only just begun, but this first step you have taken is so brave, so inspiring, that I can only express my excitement for and pride in you as you build your nation anew, (for whatever one, lone American girl's opinion is worth.) Congratulations again and good luck, Egypt!

On a  personal note, it saddens me to announce that I won't be making it to STAPLE in a couple weeks time. I start a new job in Minneapolis on February 22 and am unable to get the time off that early into the position; next year will be a different story, I promise. The flip side is, of course, gainful employment and a move to an awesome, new place.

So I'll leave off with this wish: to everyone here and abroad, may you find what you're searching for in these interesting times. Heavens, what will the next ten months bring?
